I had tremendous success calling leads to join my internet network marketing business after I learned the secret of the best mlm leads. I now use a system so I do not call any leads, they come to me to join. Calling leads is hard work and takes discipline and consistent effort. Everyone runs out of friends and family to recruit so they are forced to buy leads to continue to prospect.

The first important thing to understand is how these lead companies get the leads to sell to you. Most of the leads are generated from people surfing the net and landing on a generic capture page. A capture page is just a one page website that sells the prospect on having a better lifestyle and income and directs them to fill in their name, phone, and e-mail address. This does not promote a specific company but just a generic offer to make more money working from home.

This lead would be classified as an opportunity seeker. Most experienced marketers consider these type leads to be the worst because you have no way to filter out the teenagers messing around or the people who are not really serious about starting a work at home business. You call these people and they don't remember filling anything out on the computer or they yell at you because 10 other people have called them. The lead companies sell the same names to multiple buyers.

Read this next paragraph over and over until it is etched into your brain! One of my mentors taught me that a lead is a lead is a lead. These lead companies developed ways to get more money for leads by calling them surveyed leads or real time leads. A surveyed lead is where the person lands on the same capture page and is required to answer a few questions like how soon they want to get started and how much money are they willing to invest. With the power of the internet the lead companies figured out to charge you more for a lead that gets filled out and sent to you instantly. Real time! Let's use common sense. Don't you think these same surveyed leads and real time leads have filled out some other info this week and last month and even a few times over the last few months.

If you are going to call leads to join your mlm business, the secret is to ONLY call genealogy leads. Genealogy leads are people who are already in a network marketing business or have recently been doing a work at home business. These people already know what networking is and believe in it. Many times they have a small group that will follow them into a business causing a recruiting explosion in your business. There are 14 million Network marketers in the US alone. We also know that 98% of these companies go out of business within 2 years. This is like shooting ducks in a barrel!
